About Us

CESAT is funded and managed by NESCOM, which is Pakistan's premier research and development organization. NESCOM has about 16000 employees and conducts research and development in all areas of science and technology from microelectronics to advanced materials. NESCOM is funded by the Government of Pakistan and is playing a key role as a leader in developing indigenous technologies. As part of its mandate NESCOM has setup the CESAT to bring together science and technology experts from  various departments on a single platform.

CESAT conducts applied and pure research in eight areas including medical research. The centre works and collaborates with the industry and academia to provide support, equipment and research labs to form an effective platform for technical development and advancement.
