Medical Facilities 

 

All employees of CESAT can get excellent medical facilities provided by NESCOM hospital. The hospital is providing medical care to the employees of NESCOM and all its constituent organizations.

  
 

NESCOM Hospital is an 80-bedded hospital very soon to be expanded to 100 beds. The hospital is  equipped with latest medical diagnostic equipment. This hospital provides secondary care to all specialties and tertiary care for burn patients. Doctors and all other staff members are performing their duties 24 hours with full commitment to benefit patients. Specialists are regularly attending various referred patients and providing them with necessary treatment. These facilities will further be expanded to non-entitled patients in future to cater the needs of an ever- increasing  population of Islamabad and its peripheries.

The Hospital has departments of General Surgery, medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Eye, ENT, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Radiology, Pathology, Oncology, Cardiology and Physiotherapy.
The Surgical Department is providing outpatient consultation services. Minor surgical operations are being carried out. 
 Gynae OPD  is operational and large number of patients are being examined there.

Cardiology OPD of the hospital is furnished with latest Echocardiogram. Services of senior cardiologists are also available.

A state of the art Burn Center having 4 cubic rooms fully equipped with the latest monitoring devices has been established. All the necessary equipments for severely burned patients would also be installed. In this regard pathologists recently visited Australia and received hands on training in Skin Culture Techniques for treatment of severely burned cases.a well equipped operation theater. 

The Burn Centre has a well equipped operation theater, a hydrotherapy room, a shower room and a skin culture laboratory.

A 7-bed Trauma centre with its own operation theater to deal with surgical and medical emergencies.

Opthalmology  is one of those fields which functions on high-tech equipment. It has been provided with latest machines and is fully operational.

Eye OPD has certain facilities to cater patients of all ages. Computerized Eye Testing and Slit Lamps are also being used.
